Brooks got into the van today after school and announced that he had his first loose tooth. He then showed me that it can wiggle, and it did! We were both really excited! If you know Brooks at all you know that he has been waiting long and patiently for a tooth to become loose. The time has finally arrived! All the kids in his class have lost at least one or more teeth but Brooks. We were starting to think that Bailey would lose her first tooth before him. The Dentist reassured us that he had really really healthy teeth and that boys lose their teeth later and that the longer he can keep his baby teeth the better. It will be a BIG day when that tooth comes out!

Thanksgiving Day....
Bailey is trying to jump in her daddy's boots....
she didn't get very high!!!
Brooks and his Grandpa Kently
The girl is silly. It warmed up a little bit and she plays in a swimsuit outside. She wears the hat to keep the wind off her face, she says!
never seen a prettier turkey!
Blake and his bird
We had a fun Thanksgiving! We had Blake's dad, Kent here from Hutchinson. It was nice to have our day spent here at our house instead of having to load up the car and head to someone elses house for the day. I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner, ever! I have to say it really went well. I didn't burn anything. It wouldn't be a day of cooking without me cutting myself at least once. It wasn't as bad as my mothers day cut when i put a knife through my hand and ended up with stitches.
Blake was in charge of the turkey. We grilled/smoked it and it turned out amazing! Great job honey and Kent. We ate alittle later in the afternoon so we didn't eat dinner. Everyone was stuffed full and since it was a holiday the kids just vegged out on donuts and nuts. You gotta let your kids be kids sometimes, right?!
I am going out around midnight to do some shopping and hopefully getting to sleep in alittle bit tomorrow. We are heading out tomorrow to cut down our christmas tree. Pics to come later...
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for the family i have and the love and fun we share with each other! ( sorry about the pics being out of order, I am still trying to remember to upload them in the right order, maybe next time )

New Truck for Daddy and Mushroom Rock...
We took an unplanned trip to Hays to get Blake a new truck. His broke down in Topeka and it will cost more to fix it than the truck is worth. Something that needs to be fixed in the motor. So, we took a trip to Hays and hung out with Nana and Poppy. We always like hanging out there. We always have a good time. The kids really like to go to the Museum they have there. They can go there multiple times during our visit. They never get tired of it.
We got Blake a 4Runner truck that he has been wanting. He is very excited about it! On our way home we stopped by Mushroom Rock Park. They were pretty neat! The kids enjoyed climbing and playing in all the mole hills. It was a good half way point and a good way to stretch our legs and let the kids wear themselves out!
Brooks and Baseball

hittin another ball to the fence!
Brooks is a natural at baseball. He has really enjoyed playing baseball for 3 seasons now. This Spring the ball will still be machine pitch but it will be coming at them faster. Then the following season the boys will be the pitchers. Exciting! Brooks enjoys playing all the positions on the field right now. He is a really good catcher even though he says he doesn't like being a catcher all that much. We told Brooks if he hit the ball to the fence he would get a couple of dollars. Well, let's just say he got rich these last two seasons. The boy can hit a ball! Great job Brooks. Blake even coached this fall and loved every minute of it! Brooks enjoyed his Dad being there helping out at all the practices and games too!
Bailey's 1st Soccer Season
Bailey was so excited to play soccer for the first time this year. She did a great job. Bailey is a social butterfly to say the least. She isn't the most aggressive player on the field. At one point of one of the games she was skipping to keep up with the rest of the herd. She was having as much fun doing that and skipping toward the ball than the girl who was kicking the ball toward a goal! Bailey and the rest of her team got to finish off their season at Dairy Queen. They all received a medal. Bailey is very proud of her medal. Still wears it around the house and keeps it hanging on the head of her bed.
This Spring Bailey is wanting to play T-Ball. I have a feeling she is going to be a little more aggressive in this sport. She is a pretty good ball player already. She got a new pink and white ball glove when her Bubba was splaying spring/fall baseball and she loves it.

Bailey and Tessa
Our little Barbie Mermaid
We had a great Halloween this year. It was alot of fun since Bailey is alittle older and gets it now on Trick or Treating. We went down about 3 or 4 streets and the kids brought home enough candy for about 25 people. Oh my goodness did they get alot of candy. Toward the end of the night Brooks started collecting mommy's favorite candy, Reeces Peanut Butter Cups. Thanks Buddy! Brooks was going to be a werewolf this year but when we stopped in to get him some werewolf gloves him and his dad found a zombie mask that they couldn't live without. So Brooks ended up being a Zombie and Bailey girl really really wanted to be a witch this year. Her preschool won't allow the kids to be anything like a Ghost, vampire, Witch, ect. so she chose to be a Barbie Mermaid by day and a witch by night! I had a busy day going between the kids parties but thankfully Baileys was in the morning and Brooks was in the afternoon. I got lucky! I won't be so lucky next year when they are in the same school but i will have to go between both classes at the same time.
Pumpkin Time.....
best ride of the day!
my favorite pic of the day
they were having a blast together
zip line
We went to the KC Pumpkin Patch like we do every year. It was a beautiful day. We kinda went late in the season so there wasn't many good pumpkins to choose from. The kids didn't even notice that though. They were happy just being there and running around and doing all the fun things the patch has to offer. The kids favorite things to do there is to go down all the different slides they make and riding the zip line.
