ROYALS!!!

Bailey had her first T-Ball game this morning! It rained a little bit but we weathered through it! We are from Kansas after all! Bailey had a blast playing in her first game! She hit really well and fielded the ball a few times! Great Job Bailey girl! GO ROYALS!!! Her Nana and Grandpa Kently made it to the game too! She was excited that they were there.

T-Ball

Bailey has her very first T-Ball practice on Monday night. It is time to start shuffling the kids sports schedules now. Brooks had b-ball practice from 5:30-8 and Bailey had T-Ball practice from 6:30-7:30. That would be all good but mom had to work that night. So, Dad was on his own!!! He managed just fine! Brooks got a ride home from one of his team mates after his practice.
From what i hear, Bailey had a fantastic first practice. Blake said that all the parents were raving about how well Bailey did for her first practice!!! Go BAILEY!!! I don't have any pics to post cause i wasn't there to take them but i will have some pics to post from her 1st game this Saturday! So excited! Brooks has a game that day as well. Love being at the ball fields! Bailey's team name is "ROYALS"!

Brooks' baseball team is now 5-0. They won there fifth game in a row this morning!!! They are undefeated!!! Keep it up Bulldogs!

Saying Goodbye to our sweet sweet Mamaw.....

Saying Goodbye to our sweet sweet Mamaw.....

My sweet sweet mamaw went to Heaven on Monday morning. She went to meet her Lord and meet up with her main squeeze, Papaw! Oh how we miss her so much already! She went peacefully and with her family all around her. Mamaw had lived with my parents here in town for the last year or so. My mom took such great care of her! She was where she wanted to be. Friday, Mamaw rallied and we all got to talk to her a little bit. She didn't make sense sometimes but most of the time  you could understand what she was saying. All that mattered is that she heard us tell her that we loved her and we got to hear it back from her.
She was aware that all 5 of her and Papaws kids were there by her side the whole time!
She passed away very very peacefully and with no pain. We will miss her dearly!! But, so glad to know that she is up in Heaven with Papaw. I'm sure they are bickering already!!! Oh how they are missed here on earth but know that they are in a better place where they can walk freely and without worry or pain.
We love you Mamaw and Papaw!

Bank Midwest Showdown Tournament ( second day )

The way they set these tourney's up is not to our liking. The boys won both their games the first day and lost their first game the second day. The team they played the second day had lost BOTH of their games the day before, yet they moved on cause they won against us on the second day. Single loss elimination sucks!!!

So, they Bulldogs will move onto the next tournament. We have a week off and then tournament time!! Brooks' first regular season game is this Sunday evening. Unfortunately i will miss it due to work that night. :( Not happy about that!

We are still waiting for info on Bailey's T-Ball team. We still don't know what team she is on and if her and her B.F.F., Audrey are going to be on the same team or not. Crossing our fingers!! Can't wait to watch her play. It will be very entertaining!! She is very excited about it!!

Brooks played in his third tournament today. They WON both games!!!!! The storms are brewing here in the Midwest....... we got both our games in before it started. It hasn't started storming yet but it isn't far away. The boys played AWESOME!!! So proud of the Bulldogs!!

6-4 first game, 11-10 second game!

They were down the first game 4-0 till the 5th and then they scored two and came back and won it in the 7th! What a great game to watch!!!!

Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow. Let's see if we can go all the way and win this tournament!!!
