We also had baby birds hatch out of their blue shells around the same time as the kittens were born. Kids loved watching everyday at the eggs to see if they had cracked. They are so cute! Everytime the kids would climb the ladder and make a noise the babies would raise up really quickly and open their mouths cause they thought they were going to get food from their momma. Kids did this over and over. Poor baby birdies. But, they survived, grew and got kicked out on their own.
