Brooks' last soccer game

Brooks played his last soccer game, he played well. Had a bit of a cough during this game so he wasn't as quick! There was a girl that kept playing pretty rough... even toward the boys. She was super tall and probably the tallest out of both teams. For some reason she kept roughing it with Brooks. Brooks wasn't going to put up with that, especially from a girl. But he ended up getting hurt. The girl stuck her arm out and hit him then ran right into him and stuck her foot out and made him hyperextend his knee. He went down and didn't get back up. Carried off the court by his couch. I went to get some ice and by the time i got back with it he was up and already back on the court playing! Thata boy!!! So proud of you Brooks!! The team got metals at the end from their couch! Great season Brooks!

Bailey's Farmer Musical

Nana and Papa Bailey and one of her buds, Callie! All three Kindergarten classes had their musical. They were all dressed like farmers. So cute! She did such a great job. She is a natural performer. She was not shy one bit! She practiced her songs everyday at home. We caught ourselves singing all the songs too! :) Thanks to Nana and Papa for making the drive to come see her. She loved that you guys were there!

Mr. Ball player.....

Brooks was very motivated in this game. He was where ever the ball was. He played well and hard!!! Great job, Brooks! His last game is this Saturday.... then off to the KU Spring football game.

Land Madden

Smore's time... We took a trip out to our property Sunday afternoon. Ate some lunch, shot some guns, cut down some trees, had some smores to eat and played alittle ball in the field. Had beautiful weather. Brooks was really excited to shoot the 22 that Grandpa Kently gave to Blake the last trip we took to Hutch. Blake would tie balloons on a pole out in the field about 30 yards away and Brooks would hit the balloon with the first shot, EVERYTIME!!! Daddy couldn't even do that! HA,HA!! Bailey shot her BB gun and was able to hold it all by herself this time. She held it up on her shoulder, it was funny but she hit the can we put on the pole!

Bailey's last 2 soccer games

Bailey playing goalie Bailey and her friend Parker Bailey had her last two soccer games last night. She had a ton of fun this season in indoor soccer. She played so well and was a great team player! Great job Bailey Quin!! Congrats on your scoring a couple of points too! Bailey got a medal and a certificate on hustling and having a possitive attitude! So proud of you Bay!

Easter 2013

We went to church then to Nana and Papa's house to celebrate Easter. It was a beautiful day. The weather couldn't have been better. Before church I made the kids and Blake an Easter basket full of plastic egg filled with mini Cinnamon rolls. They were yummy and the kids really liked it. They got their own basket full of them! We had a great lunch and a great time hunting Easter eggs. This year Papa let all the grandkids hide all the egss. They hid over a hundred eggs, at least. Thank you Nana and Papa for having us over for a wonderful day.
